Our Story: Agents of Change

This year, our team wanted to shed light on the importance of policy in shaping our day to day lives, especially in the midst of our health. Wanting to explore the connection between our health and global health, we were inspired to establish One Health Day: Agents of Change—a convention that brings together experts in public health, natural science, veterinary science, and modern day outbreaks. Together, we realized that we all had the power to be Agents of Change—we are the very individuals that can enact change in the world through shaping how policy affects health. It starts with education.

On October 3, 2026, we will host One Health Day: Agents of Change, where speakers from the Las Vegas community, along with experts from the Broad Institute of MIT & Harvard and other prestigious institutions, will provide insight through the four sectors.

Our commitment to raising awareness on infectious disease outbreaks led to the creation of the One Health Day Club. This embassy was built on collaboration and a shared commitment to empower individuals with the knowledge to prevent and respond to healthcare insurgencies. The One Health Day Club Board is not only raising awareness but also creating a significant impact on today's and future generations.
